This is a unique research tool indexing the local history, art, theatre, music and film of the greater Auckland region.
Index Auckland continues the New Zealand Card Index from 1996. It covers primarily the Auckland region particularly biographical and subject entries, and is sourced mainly from regional newspapers. Auckland Index is part of the New Zealand Index collection.

INZART is an index to articles which provide information on New Zealand
artists, art galleries and museums, exhibitions and art events. Details
of images and illustrations are also included. INZART indexes from New
Zealand and international serials held predominantly in the University
of Auckland Fine Arts Library. Art-related articles published in New
Zealand newspapers are also selectively indexed. Coverage ranges from
the early 1960s to the present.

Providing the New Zealand public with online access to an up-to-date database,
added to daily as new pieces of legislation travel through the Parliamentary process.The Knowledge Basket provides free access to the Acts and Regulations. Bills and SOPs can be downloaded for free. The Hansard Advances can also be downloaded for free. Searching the databases is not free.

Unfortunately, due to cost and reduced income from the database, the New Zealand Law Society Library has decided to discontinue access to LINX on The Knowledge Basket. Maori Land Court Minute Books Index

The Maori Land Court Minute Books Index (MLCMBI) was created by the University of Auckland Library. It provides easy and quick access to over 1100 minute books between 1865 and 1910, from the Taitokerau, Waikato-Maniapoto, Tairawhiti, Waiariki, Aotea, Takitimu, and Waipounamu Maori Land Court Districts. The database is not being updated.

Manukau's Journey is a chronology of significant events in the history of South Auckland or the Counties Manukau region (Otahuhu, Manukau City, Papakura, Franklin). Lists of sources and in some cases pictorial materials are attached.

New Zealand Doctor is a national fortnightly newspaper providing medical and political news, clinical updates and commentary for family doctors.
The search archive contains all articles from the news and business sections from January 1996 to the present.

The New Zealand Card Index began in the 1950s and closed in 1996. It indexes a range of sources including local and national newspapers, New Zealand periodicals, and books.
The main geographical focus is Auckland, but other New Zealand material is also included. The subject matter focuses on people, places and organisations. The index includes references to information on Auckland buildings, businesses and places, as well as obituaries, death notices and marriage notices, from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. There are 416,544 records in the collection.
